Damascus - India's textile exhibition was opened yesterday evening at the Damascus Sheraton Hotel.
The exhibition includes 19 factories of textile, handicraft textile, industrial and rayon textile and mixed fabric.
The Indian industrial and mixed textile is exported to 172 countries around the world, including the Middle East, the Arab Gulf region and the European Union. Syria comes among the top ten markets which import the Indian industrial textile.
The exhibition is organized by the council of promotion of the Indian industrial textile in cooperation with Indian Embassy in Damascus and supported by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce.
