JEDDAH: LG Electronics, leading company of digital technology, has in collaboration with Yousuf Mohamed Naghi United Company organized the Ladies Cooking competition on the occasion of launching "Solar Dom" oven. The competition was organized last Tuesday concurrently in Jeddah Rdisson SAS hotel and Dubai, whereby Chef Osama Al-Syed of Dubai TV has demonstrated the capabilities of the new oven including its cooking technologies features.
Ten participants had reached the finals with each of them supported by five helpers, to prepare a main dish within 30 seconds using "Solar Dom" oven. Upon consideration of many criteria including the innovative nature of ingredients, service style and nutrition value, the referee committee selected the winning participant.During the tournament, booklet on international cooking prescriptions, authored by chef Osama were distributed in addition to lectures delivered on modern cooking styles and preparation of some famous local and international dishes. The winning participants were awarded valuable prizes of LG Electronics products including household utensils, ovens and microwave ovens equipped with the latest international tech in the field of modern household utensils.
