RABAT, Jan 1 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Dr. Saud Tami Al-Shabaan Al-Mutairi said on Tuesday that "the supervision on regulatory authority has a great and effective role in achieving comprehensive development in the Arab world".

Dr. Al-Mutairi said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on the sidelines of earning a doctorate in public law from Mohammed V University in Rabat last Wednesday that the subject on the State of Kuwait is the main topic related to constitutional law and administrative and economic justice in the country.

Al-Mutairi, who obtained a doctorate degree from the university of his thesis on "Supervision on regulatory authority in the State of Kuwait and its implications for development" said that research in this dilemma is not easy since its jurisprudential and scientific dimensions are diverse and numerous.

He added that the importance of this issue does not emit few existing literature but also in the new regulatory authority in the State of Kuwait and its relationship with the institutions it regulates such as the parliament and impact of that on development.

Al-Mutairi added that the importance of the issue also highlights the prestigious status through which it occupies over scientific studies on the phenomenon of control and its impact on development.

He also pointed out that the issue of control over the regulatory authority in the State of Kuwait and its implications for development is becoming of paramount importance in the concerns of the public authorities and their role in achieving many of the gains in several areas.

He stressed that the main problematic thesis focused on these types of control and monitoring as well as the positives and their obstacles and reflections on development and what are the possible solutions to overcome them.
