Bahrain's St Peter's Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church is celebrating its silver jubilee with a "mega charity fair" and cultural programme today at Manama's Andalus Garden, a spokesman said yesterday.
Asianet and East Coast will be presenting Midad Sandhya, a cultural show the proceeds of which would go to charity programmes in India and Bahrain, the spokesman said. More than 50 artistes are taking part in the show. Tickets will cost 5, 3 and 2 dinars. There will also be a raffle to win a 600 gram gold bar. Transport is arranged by the organisers, the spokes-man said.
