Abu Dhabi - Chicago's CB&I engineering firm won a $130 million contract to design and build liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). CB&I will build LNG tanks and a pentane tank for a natural gas processing expansion project in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, UAE, Middle East Newsline reported on September 6. The contract, expected to be finalized by mid-2008, is with Italy's Snamprogetti SpA, prime contractor for the project's owner, Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd. (ADGI). ADGI is a unit of Abu Dhabi National Oil Co.
