Cathay Pacific is offering a free night's stay in a Disneyland hotel and two entry tickets to the park to passengers who fly to Hong Kong this autumn.
The promotion will enable people flying from the UAE to Hong Kong until October 31 to experience Hong Kong Disneyland firsthand.
Package deals include return airfare, a one night's twin-share stay in either the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel or the Disney Hollywood Hotel, two single-day Disneyland park entry tickets per passenger, transfers from Hong Kong International Airport to the Disney Hotel by coach, and transfers from the Disney Hotel to Hong Kong International Airport, with prices ranging between Dh2,760 and Dh3,170.
"In line with the launch of Disneyland in Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific would like to extend this opportunity to all travellers flying to Hong Kong to experience the delights of our spectacular home," said James Evans, the airline's country manager for the UAE and Oman.
The Hong Kong Disneyland project was announced in 1999 as a joint venture between the Walt Disney Company and the Hong Kong Government.
Cathay Pacific flies 13 times a week between Dubai and Hong Kong with seven direct flights, two services via Bahrain and four services via Mumbai and Bangkok.
Inaugurated on September 12, Hong Kong Disneyland is spread over 126 hectares of reclaimed land overlooking Penny's Bay at the north-east end of Lantau Island. Construction of the theme park began in 2003.
