Cat Lift Trucks' new line - seven models of 8-16-tonne lift trucks - demonstrates a major advance in specifications, good looks and performance capabilities. All models, from the rugged 8-tonne DP80N to the top-of-the-range 16-tonne DP 160N incorporate a wide range of improvements. They will strengthen Cat's major presence in the lift truck sector. With new styling, improved ergonomics plus enhanced performance, the DP80-160N range is already attracting great interest globally - especially in the stevedoring, building materials and oil industry sectors. Moreover, the trucks meet the stringent Level IIIA EU emission regulations, with substantially reduced ownership costs.
Engine performance
The rugged 6M60-TL diesel engine provides an improved output of 110 kw. A complete drive train is manufactured in-house for a perfect match with the engine, transmission and front axle. This delivers impressive gradeability and lifting speeds. Innovative changes in the hydraulic system have improved lift performance.
The tiltable operator compartment, which makes maintenance far easier, plus on-board diagnostics and a heavy duty designed brake system help to raise standards of performance and efficiency. Add increased service intervals (from 200 hours to 500 hours), easy daily checks and the DP80-160N range represents significantly less downtime, and lower cost of ownership. The range provides impressive performance capabilities across a wide range of operating environments.
