TUNIS (TAP) - A regular cabinet meeting held on Wednesday approved two draft laws and 38 statutory decrees. The first draft law relates to the closing of the management budget for 2010, and the second to the National Meteorology Institute (INM).

According to Minister in the Prime Minister's office Noureddine B'hiri, the decrees relate to the general amnesty, the financial, economic, social, cultural and legal fields as well as the fields of infrastructure, State property and land affairs.

Ridha Saidi, Minister in Charge of Economic Affairs, presented the outcome of the visit of Interim Prime Minister Ali Larayedh to Turkey and his participation in the conference of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). He also spoke of the PM's participation in the Doha International Forum.

The principal private secretary to the Culture Minister declared that the meeting had allowed to discuss preparations for the Summer festivals and the budget allocated to this end.

As to Secretary of State in charge of Environment Sadok Omri , he said the Cabinet meeting had looked at the environmental situation in the country and more particularly the problems relating to garbage dumps and cleanliness.
