Doha - CA, one the world's largest IT management software companies, along with Information and Communication Technology (ICT), its enterprise solution partner in Qatar, organised an educational technology briefing yesterday aimed at helping IT organisations provide efficient and improved IT services to meet growing business demands of Qatar's booming economy.

Under the theme of "Ensuring IT and business goals speak the same language" the briefing covered topics related to transforming IT organisations from cost centres to service based business partners.

Abdul Salam Knio, general manager ICT said, "As CA's enterprise solution partner in Qatar, we are working closely with CA in helping local customers successfully implement IT service management enhancement projects. This technology briefing covered the complete portfolio of CA's service management solutions as was a great starting point for our mutual customers who are looking at improving IT services while reducing risk, cost, and making IT a true partner of their businesses."

Commenting on the occasion, Luke Kabama, regional director for enterprise systems management and business service optimization for CA's Middle Eastern region said, "Increasing complexities in today's enterprise IT environment makes delivery of IT service time consuming, expensive, and extremely demanding on staff resources. Our software tools help ease the workload of IT support by providing IT support automation and user self service facilities. CA solutions also help measure true service usage by business users. This helps determine the real cost for each IT service, thereby enabling businesses to better plan, forecast and manage the cost of IT demand."
