JEDDAH: Bab Rizq Jameel (BRJ), an affiliate of ALJ Community Initiatives, launched nine new commercials as part of a campaign about its diversified job creation programs for young men and women.
Several 30-second adverts have been produced to demonstrate the services provided by BRJ, such as small projects support, direct employment and training ending with employment, in addition to supporting fields such as the arts, television programming and writing.
The commercials have been aired during the holy month of Ramadan on television channel MBC 1, and will also be broadcast on other satellite channels.
Abdul Rahman Al-Fihaid, BRJ executive director in Saudi Arabia, said the commercials conform to a simple and modern style that helps educate the public about job opportunities provided by BRJ.
Al-Fihaid said the campaign included a selection of commercials that focus on creative ideas and outstanding projects through which BRJ is seeking to encourage young men and women to apply for loans for their innovative and unconventional small projects.
The new commercials included three under the title "Creative Minds," which aim to attract innovative projects in the area of arts, TV production, IT and online entrepreneurship.
BRJ is offering loans of up to SR200,000 to support outstanding projects, which will be given priority for financial support in the future.
Another three commercials focus on explaining BRJ's policy in the area of direct employment for young men and women and introducing appropriate job opportunities that match their qualifications and skills.
The last three commercials are about financing small projects and micro finance and feature two case studies, a travel agency and event management center for women.
Mohammed Hakami, senior program development director at BRJ, said the new commercials have been produced to attract young people to the labor market and to raise maximum awareness about the job opportunities provided by the organization.
Hakami added that the new commercials are a great addition to the previous 40 produced since 2003 as part of the "Role Model" program, which aims to produce diversified commercials that encourage young people to apply for diversified job opportunities.
Previous campaigns were about the dangers of smoking and shisha, encouraging young people to get married and the importance of fastening seat belts.
