Mahmood Al Soufi, Chief Executive Officer of BNI, said the virtual insurance concept was new to the Kingdom and extremely reliable, convenient and secure. "It is the result of 18 months of hard work. We saw the need in the local market for a technology driven service."  bni, Bahrain's leading personal lines insurer, has over than thirty years of experience in handling medium to large industrial and commercial insurances together with marine, energy and construction risks. The Company has an authorised capital of BD14 million and paid-up capital of BD7.8 million.   In charge of the project, Jonathan Abela, Assistant General Manager, Motor and Personal Lines, said with bnidirect it was possible to get and view quotes for motor, travel, home and domestic servant insurance, issue an online policy, renew a policy and place a claim, leave feedback, view policies and claims.

The revamped website was designed working closely with bni's partners in a number of key growth and development phases. "Now the customers can enjoy the flexibility of a wide range of insurance plans and options suitable to their needs at the click of the button," Al Soufi said.
