MUSCAT: Bank Sohar has officially declared its Al Aamerat branch open coinciding with the 41st National Day of the Sultanate.

Shaikh Muhanna bin Saif Al Mawali, wali of the wilayat and the guest of honour inaugurated the branch recently. Hussain Yousuf Al Shalwani, board member of Bank Sohar; Khalfan Rashid Al Tal'ey, DGM (Retail Banking) of Bank Sohar; senior managers of the bank; Abdullah Al Shidi, branch manager of Al Aamerat branch and other dignitaries graced the occasion.

Earlier, Abdullah Al Shidi, branch manager welcomed the guest of honour and other dignitaries.

After cutting the ribbon and announcing the branch officially open, Shaikh Muhanna Al Mawali cut the cake to celebrate the 41st National Day. The guest of honor and the invitees were taken on a tour of the branch premises and given an overview of the facilities available at the branch.

"Opening of Bank Sohar's Al Aamerat branch is a reflection of the economic progress that has been witnessed in this suburb of the capital," said Dr Mohamed Abdulaziz Kalmoor, chief executive of Bank Sohar.
