MUSCAT -- Bahwan IT which is a part of the Suhail Bahwan Group has been awarded the prestigious QMS ISO 9001:2000 certification. The certification was issued by Bureau Veritas, Oman, one of the world's top most certification bodies, following a rigorous review process of Bahwan IT Quality Management System. The certification was formally awarded to Amal Suhail Bahwan, Director Bahwan IT, at a recent ceremony by Shakir Rasheed, Bureau Veritas, Oman.
Shakir Rasheed, commented, "Bahwan IT has established and continues to maintain top class customer focus based model in the operational regime which truly deserves this accreditation. During the certification process, Bureau Veritas has observed excellent documentation, higher degree of system awareness among the process owners."
Amal Bahwan stated, "We thank His Majesty Sultan Qaboos for his great vision and opportunities provided to the people and organisations in Oman, which has helped to add value to Oman's progress. It's indeed a proud moment that one of our group companies has achieved this milestone.
