Muscat - Bahwan IT has qualified as a Gold Certified Microsoft Partner, the company announced at Gitex late last week. The certification was announced in the presence of Amal Suhail Bahwan, Director, Bahwan IT. Gold partner status is the highest level of Microsoft partner certification, and indicates both the expertise of the partner, and the strength of their relationship with Microsoft.
The company has qualified for Gold status in Advanced Infrastructure Solutions and Security Solutions. In order to qualify Bahwan had to undergo a rigorous assessment process with Microsoft, to prove its technical qualifications, experience and business preparedness in its chosen areas of expertise.
"By achieving Gold partner status, Bahwan proves its dedication to providing our customers with IT solutions that meet the highest standards possible, in line with the vision of the Chairman of the group, Shaikh Suhail Salim Bahwan. To qualify, the company has to reach a certain standard of technical certifications among its staff, and it also has to have proven experience in the specified areas including reference customers. The company must also have a clear business plan to grow its competencies in the specialist field.
To specialise in Advanced Infrastructure Solutions, Bahwan IT had to show its expertise with Active Directory and Identity Management solutions, Microsoft Exchange Migration and deployment and systems management. For Security Solutions specialisation Bahwan IT demonstrated its capabilities in security policy management, security infrastructure services and identity and access management.
Bahwan IT is now looking to expand its competencies into additional areas of expertise, including Network Infrastructure, Licensing Solutions and Information Worker Solutions. "Microsoft is very pleased to be able to certify Bahwan IT as a Gold partner.
