Microsoft North Gulf yesterday hosted the second of its Technical Connection roadshow that connects with the technology community in the North Gulf region of Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar, writes Mehmood Rafique. The two-day event, being held at the Sheraton Towers Hotel, targets IT professionals, developers, Microsoft Partners and IT Decision Makers, delivering an update on Microsoft's latest innovations and products.
Eyad Mansour, Manager Technology Specialist Group for Microsoft North Gulf, said: "Microsoft North Gulf's technical team in Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar has demonstrated rapid growth and development throughout the region. Our growing numbers enable Microsoft to have more direct interaction with all our customers across the region." Monzer Tohme, MBS channel and sales manager for Microsoft North Gulf said: "Microsoft Business Solutions Axapta ERP provides outstanding performance for customers in a flexible and cost effective manner, delivering bottom-line business benefits. It's a multiple language, multiple currency enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution with core strengths in manufacturing and e-business, and strong functionality for the wholesale and services industries."
Country Manager for Microsoft in Bahrain, Samir Ben Makhlouf said: "Through Technical Connection we are working to bring the community together with the aim of raising awareness around Microsoft technologies and solutions, and reaching our ultimate goal of helping individuals and organisations realise their full potential". Microsoft also organised a special track for IT Decision Makers , providing them with an update on Microsoft Enterprise Product Roadmap, Portal Technologies, commitment to Building Trust in Computing, how Microsoft does IT, and a sneak preview of Microsoft's latest business solutions. The company also announced the launch of Microsoft Business Solutions Axapta software a first in the region during the ceremony.
