Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) is providing an intensive six-month training programme to enable interested candidates to take up the Professional Risk Managers (PRM) exams, in light of the ever-growing demand for professionally qualified risk managers. PRM certification, a high standard certification in risk management and recognised globally by leading companies, is offered by US-based Professional Risk Managers' International Association (PRMIA).

The programme will run up until December 8 and delivered by experts from the industry as well as BIBF's experienced academic professionals. Twenty candidates have joined the programme representing the Central Bank of Bahrain among other banks and government organisations. During the six month period of the programme, candidates will undergo rigorous training through lectures, quizzes, mock exams, and web-based training tools.

Hussain Al Ajmi, Division Head, Learning Centres pointed out that Esterad Investment Company funds will help narrow the skills gap in the financial services sector in Bahrain by providing young Bahrainis with the necessary international professional qualifications.
