The Crown Prince, Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who is also the Chairman of the Economic Development Board, has appointed a new board, comprising representatives from both public and private sectors, for a three-year term.
The EDB board will be led by Shaikh Salman as the Chairman and members will be Deputy Prime Ministers Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa and Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
The Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Oil and Gas Affairs, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain will also represent on the board.
The nine representatives from the private sector are Dr Essam Abdulla Fakhro, Jawad Habib Jawad, Sameer Abdulla Nass, A'atif Ahmed Abdul Malik, Elham Abdulla Hassan, Talal Ali Al Zain, Tariq Jaleel Al Saffar, Jalal Ahmed Al A'ali and Adel Hassan Al Masqati.
