Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) extended its financial support for the Green Capital Project that is being implemented as part of Al Amal Greenery Project under the patronage of the Chairman of the Public Commission for the Protection of Marine Resources, Environment and Wildlife, Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa,.
Alba said that its BD1,000 donation to the project was in line with the company's commitment to supporting the local community in its various activities, especially those that help protect the environment, promote public awareness and enhance the beautification of the Kingdom.
Following the presentation of the cheque, Alba's project finance manager Abdul Qader Ishak described the project as a "pioneering venture".
The president of the Green Capital Project Organising Committee and chairman of Al Amal Greenery Project's Board of Directors, Abdul Hakeem Ebrahim Mohd Al Shumarie, underlined the significance of the project and thanked Alba for its support.
