Al Bander Hotel and Resort announced the launch of a human resources training centre aimed at providing training facilities to their staff.
General manager Aboulkheir M. Ibrahim made the statement in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary for Training at the Ministry of Labour and chief guest, Abdulellah Al Qassimi, at the hotel.
The representatives of Specific Council for Training in Hotel and Catering, hoteliers and members of the trade unions were also present.
"Al Bander Human Resources Training Centre will train hotel's staff and any Bahraini recommended by the ministry,' Ibrahim said, adding that the number of training institutes in the hospitality industry was limited and Al Bander Institute would be a major addition in this regard.
Al Qassimi lauded the management's decision to open the training institute and said that it would help to boost the training facilities in the hospitality sector. A Qassimi also presented certificates to the outstanding employees at the honouring ceremony.
