KUWAIT, Nov 20 (KUNA) -- The first aircraft of Bahrain Air landed here, launching the Bahrain-Kuwait route with 10 weekly flights.
Bahrain Air Managing Director Ibrahim Al-Haber said at a press conference held here that Kuwait is a major destination for any airline.
He added that Bahrain Air provides high-standard services to its costumers, according to the Bahraini hospitality traditions.
Meanwhile, Director of Commercial Operations at Bahrain Air Mohammad Fakhri said that the price of a ticket to Kuwait starts from KD 2, adding that the airline will soon launch a route between Kuwait and Beirut.
Bahrain Air flies to Dubai, Doha, Jeddah, Amman, Damascus, Halab, Beirut, Alexandria, Mashhad, and Kochi, he pointed out.
For his side, the company's Solicitor General Anwar Al-Fadhil said Bahrain Air is planning to launch routes to Asyut, Luxor, and Khartoum, stressing that is keen on expanding gradually to reach European and American destinations too.
Bahrain Air was established in 2007 with a capital of about USD 26.5 million.
