Baku, Feb 14th, 2012 (WAM) -- President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received today, UAE foreign minister HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the Azeri capital Bako.
Sheikh Abdullah conveyed greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Ilham Aliyev and stressed his keenness to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. Offering his greetings to Sheikh Khalifa, the Azeri President expressed happiness over the rapid growth of bilateral relations between UAE and Azerbaijan in various fields. Quoting Aliyev, the state news agency of Azerbaijan AjerTaj said that the political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries have entered a new phase and that the cooperation between the two sides will continue to serve peace and stability in the region. Sheikh Abdullah stressed his faith that the relations between the two contries will continue to grow under the leadership of Sheikh Khalifa and Ilham Aliyev.
