Movenpick Beach Resort Al Khobar marked another major award milestone by winning the 'Best Resort in Saudi Arabia' for the third consecutive time at the recently concluded 2013 Saudi Excellence in Tourism Awards (SETA).
The upscale family beach resort offers contemporary three-bedroom villas, a tranquil private beach, free-form outdoor pool, two restaurants, water sports and a wellness center. Lush greenery and spectacular sea views complete the setting in Aziziyah on Half Moon Bay Road.
"For a resort that is only three years old, it's a remarkable achievement to have won this award for three consecutive years," said Prashant Sharma, resort manager of Mövenpick Beach Resort Al Khobar.
He thanked the resort team members, "who strive to ensure every guest enjoys their experience as much as possible. It's such an encouragement to know that we are not only working at the 'Best Resort in Saudi Arabia', but that we also successfully retained this prestigious award. It's a testament to the consistency in quality service we aim to deliver every day".
The awards ceremony was staged recently at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC).
Prince Sultan bin Salman, president of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), tourism and hospitality officials, participating organizations and other dignitaries in Saudi Arabia attended the event.
