DOHA: The Virginia Common-wealth University in Qatar (VCU-Q) will host an audition for models on January 30 from 2pm to 5pm for its annual fashion show which will be held in May. Successful models will help enhance and bring out the vision of all VCUQatar's senior designers to life.
Female models who would like to audition are required to be at least 170cms (5'6") tall, be between sizes 6 and 8 and they have to be available in the time period from the middle of February to the beginning of May 2010. Aspiring models meeting these criteria should come to the open auditions on Saturday and bring along heels and a jacket.
VCU-Q's Annual Fashion Show is both a formative and culminating element of the Fashion Design program, launching students from student life into successful careers. This celebration of fashion brings together spectators, friends and fashion enthusiasts from the region, not only to judge and/or admire the collections of the students, but also for the unique atmosphere of this grand defilé.
VCUQatar's 2009 annual fashion show saw a packed house with over 400 people filling the atrium on both the evenings the show was hosted: The VIP Ladies night and the general public night.
The auditions this Saturday will be held at VCUQatar's Orange Hall between 2 and 5 PM.
