KUWAIT, April 14 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Seif Palace on Saturday National Assembly Speaker Jassem Mohammad Al-Kharafi accompanied by Speaker of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly Dr. Mohammad Hidayat Nur Wahid on the occasion of his visit to the country.
His Highness Sheikh Nawaf commended bilateral relations, which he said contributed to boosting cooperation in all fields.
For his part, the guest commended Kuwait's support for his country at all levels in the interest of the two countries and peoples, especially Kuwait's humanitarian aid to Indonesia after it was struck by natural disasters.
The meeting was attended by top officials at the Diwan of His Highness the Crown Prince.
Later, His Highness the Crown Prince received His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Minister of Defense Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, and Information Minister Abdullah Saud Al-Muhailbi.
He also received chairman and members of Kuwait Journalists Association on the occasion of the new boards' election.
His Highness Sheikh Nawaf congratulated them on gaining the trust of their colleagues and noted the great responsibility they had to bear, calling on them to place Kuwait's interest above all else through reporting news with credibility and transparency.
The association's Chairman Ahmad Behbahani stressed the role of Kuwaiti media in highlighting local, Arab, and international issues with freedom and credibility.

Moreover, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf separately received Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Faisal Al-Hajji Bukhadhour, Oil Minister Sheikh Ali Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, President of the National Security Apparatus Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and Amiri Diwan Advisor Mohammad Dhaifallah Sharar.
