Abu Dhabi, Aug 2nd, 2012 (WAM) -- Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler's Representative in the Western Region (Al Gharbia) of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the President of the Emirates Falconers' Club, the 10th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting & Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX 2012), will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from the 5th to the 8th of September.

Organized by the Emirates Falconers' Club, the Exhibition which celebrates its 10th edition this year, is labelled on the agenda of competent international events as a popular, quality family event, and as an artistic, heritage, environmental and cultural occasion that assimilates the economic aspect, as major deals are concluded and large contracts and sales are sealed.

Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Director of ADIHEX Abu Dhabi, 2012 stressed that the Exhibition, which enjoys extensive national and regional participation, will include many interesting surprises intended for fans from around the world. The Exhibition will focus this year on the various archery activities, as part of the organizers? efforts aimed at reviving some heritage competitions through the adoption of an innovative approach that relies on the latest technologies known in this field.

The important participation of the Al Forsan International Sports Resort, which won the appreciation of ADIHEX visitors in previous editions, will top the Exhibition?s agenda, and will include rifle shooting with live ammunition and archery. The 2012 competitions will be announced by the Al Forsan Club ahead of the Exhibition?s official opening.

Among the most prominent participations will be that of the Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club through the providing of a series of aim shooting ranges for the purposes of aiming with experimental ammunitions. This series will include two or three aim systems. The moving target system from the United States will be likely available during this edition. The aim shooting range will give the public the opportunity to test hits at definite targets on the aim board. Winners can claim their prizes at the wing dedicated for shooting activities.

The Sharjah Club?s pavilion displays different types of experimental ammunition, ammunition for quick shooting sports, light air rifles available for visitors, in addition to modern equipments used in these sports.

Teletarget Co. L.L.C, a specialised company in the supply, installation and maintenance of shooting ranges and training systems for professional, sporting and clubs? practices, will be displaying a number of shooting equipments and training systems, including: MILO range simulator, an interactive training system, which offers the latest technologies for the interactive use in hits and firearms training.

MS -2 for shooting simulation is the best system for the simulation of shooting with hunting rifles and aiming with rifles. The system is specially designed to provide advices on hits. RIKA Home Trainer was developed to exactly analyse all movements by the shooter before the shots and hits themselves enabling complete understanding of the shooters? technique.

The pioneering company also displays the Sius Ascor system for multiple shooting applications, a low-cost system for perfect electronic aiming with air rifles, Laporte Ball-Trap, as well as a new game which provides a unique sensation and amazing visual effects, through an arrow, a bow and the exciting live experience of seeing the arrow hitting the target in the air.

Al Qubaisi revealed that the 10th edition will be characterized by the active participation of exhibitors in the heritage and sports events. Major companies and participating institutions will be organizing innovative competitions in their wings, dedicated to the public with their different interests and categories. These competitions will be announced later as part of the participants? contribution to the celebration of the 10th edition of this internationally-unique exhibition. The events include the sector of the various kinds of hunting weapons, marine sector, heritage tourism sector, equestrian shows sector, falcon flight show sector, in addition to many heritage and cultural events dedicated to children.
