AMMAN: The Arab Businessmen Union held here a meeting yesterday to discuss, among other things, implementation of resolutions agreed upon during the Kuwait economic summit and Doha's summit as well.

Representative of Kuwait to the meeting Muhammad al-Naqi, who is chairman of the Kuwaiti Industries Holding Compnay, indicated that participants in the meeting discussed a wide range of topics, among them food security, linking Arab states with a railway system and energy.

They also agreed to renew the term of the Union's current president Hamdi al-Tabbaa until 2013, said al-Naqi. ABU was established in 1997 and takes Amman as its headquarters.
