The Al Wakeel project backed by seed capital agency Al Tomooh was inaugurated yesterday by Ahmad Humaid Al Tayer, chairman of Emirates Bank and of Al Tomooh Supreme Committee.
The company specialises in equipping schools with developed teaching means and equipment.
A number of officials from various government departments and Emirates Bank Group were present at the inauguration ceremony.
Al Tayer said the scheme constantly strives to support projects that add value to Dubai's and Sharjah's economies.
Sulaiman Al Mazroui, chief manager at Emirates Bank Group and executive member of Al Tomooh Supreme Committee, said the total number of approved projects officially launched and inaugurated under the scheme will reach 50, worth Dh23 million.
Al Mazroui congratulated Eisa Abdul Raheem Al Suwaidi, the owner of the project.
Al Tayer also congratulated the project's owners and stressed the importance of choosing the right project that will help Dubai's economic development.
