JEDDAH: Al-Waha International School said on Wednesday that out of 40 of its students who sat the IGCSE exam, 22 made the ICE award, and with the exception of one student all of them have received the certification in the Distinction category.

Performance in individual subject streams has been outstanding as well and an impressive array of A* and A grades have marked student achievement in the languages, sciences, math, humanities and IT. Out of a total of 301 subject entries, students have obtained 97 A*'s, 95 A's and 69 B's.

Heading the honor roll are Afshan Afzal with 8 A*'s and Moaz Shafique with 6 A*'s, closely followed by Osama Nadeem and Maryam Binte Zafar (5A*'s and 3A's), Amin Aboutaj and Asma Nusrath (5A*'s and 2 A's) and Abdullah Mushtaq and Anma Mobin (4A*'s and 4A's).

Heading the chart of achievers in the AS/A Level examinations this year is Ayisha Fazal (3A's & 1B), closely followed by Komal Arshad.
