DOHA: Al Safi-Danone officially launched its dairy products in Qatar at a grand function held at the Doha Marriott Hotel. The event was attended by executives of Al Safi-Danone, its local distributor, Qatar National Import & Export Co and over 300 guests who were given the opportunity to sample the range of products of Al Safi-Danone.
 
Danone is the world’s largest dairy company, and Al Safi operates the largest integrated dairy farm in the world. Al Safi-Danone is the market leader in Saudi Arabia and is known for its high quality range of dairy products produced in the largest integrated dairy farm in the world.
 
During the event, Ihsan Al Khiyami, general manager of Qatar National Import & Export Co, welcomed the guests and stressed his company’s long-term commitment to consumers in Qatar by providing them with quality products and international brand names.
 
“Qatar National Import & Export will market the whole range of Al Safi-Danone’s dairy products. This includes fresh milk, leban, yoghurt, the Rashaka zero per cent fat range, Danao juice milk, Actimel dairy drink to help your defence system, Activia Laban which helps in digestion, Danino – a children’s dairy food with three times more milk than ordinary yoghurt, in addition to desserts like Danette.
 
All Al Safi-Danone products are made from fresh milk and are packaged at the company’s state-of-the-art plant in Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia”, Al Khiyami explained.
 
Sharing the same enthusiasm, Mohammed Al Sarhan, Managing director of Al Safi-Danone said: “Qatar is the third market in the GCC after Saudi Arabia and Kuwait to receive the Al Safi-Danone range of products. We are making continuous efforts to implement our plan to provide our product range to the entire Arab World GCC. Al Safi-Danon’e range is produced according to the highest quality standards, and complements all consumer tastes. our products are synonymous with health and well being.” The products are available at all supermarkets across the country.
