Al Nasr meet Al Arabi of Qatar in a friendly football match tomorrow (Friday) in Doha, Qatar. Al Nasr will be preparing for their coming league match against Sharjah on January 30 at the Al Maktoum Stadium.

The Al Nasr delegation left yesterday for Doha on a three-day training camp which will be concluded after playing a friendly against Al Arabi tomorrow. The team will return to Dubai immediately after the match.

Mohammed Kahour, Manager of the club told Gulf News, the short training camp is very important for the team.

"We must take the players out of this atmosphere to help them get rid of the pressure and tension they suffered due to the continuous league matches in the last weeks."

Despite their poor results in the last four matches, they are still in the title race. "It's true that we lost 10 points in the last four matches and won only two, however, we are not far from the top team with five points away. I think we have to look for the coming matches and win all the points without looking back to the last defeats, which we have to put behind us."

Al Nasr is now in the fifth place with 23 points as they lost points in the last two matches.

The manager said the team's short visit to Qatar has many benefits to offer. "In addition to the technical benefit for playing against one of the top teams in Qatar, we will also benefit by developing our relationship with the Al Arabi Club of Qatar to exchange visits and conduct training camps both in Dubai and Doha.

"Also the training camps are good to reinforcement the relevance between the coach and his players and as I have said it will help the players to change the current atmosphere and return to Dubai fit and ready for the coming league matches starting next week in which they meeting Sharjah."

Ahmed Khorshid, the club's reserve team coach is heading the delegation along with the team coach Rene Exbrayat and his assistants with 15 players after Yousuf Mussa apologised due to private circumstances.
