MUSCAT -- The annual staff function of Al Hassan Switchgear Manufacturing Co was held recently at Crystal Suites, Wadi Kabir. During the function which was attended by both Ghala and Buraimi factory employees, a number of Omani as well as expatriate employees were given long-term service awards.
Employees who have served the company for more than 10 to 15 years were recognised for their sincerity and commitment towards the company.
Besides Al Hassan's Chairman, Hassan Ali Salman, MD; Maqbool Ali Salman, many senior figures of the executive management including Eng Talal al Assaad, CEO-Manufacturing and Trading and the General Manager, Joseph Chandru graced the occasion.
Hassan Ali Salman welcomed the audience and lauded the staff on their excellent performance and thanked them for their dedicated services to Al Hassan's customers. The Chairman also announced a handsome bonus to all the staff as a reward for their excellent performance.
Maqbool Ali Salman encouraged all the employees to think creatively and help in developing innovative solutions. He particularly pointed out that creativity and innovation are not domain or position specific.
Both the chairman and managing director stressed on the importance of advanced training to be conducted for our Omani workforce, in order for them to be prepared as leaders of tomorrow.
Eng Talal exhorted all the employees to continue their hard work and put more efforts in maintaining the leadership position which Al Hassan Switchgear enjoys today in the country. He emphasised the need to continue to deliver its core message as the number one Switchgear manufacturer in the Sultanate in all areas with focus on quality and customer service.
The staff expressed delight for this joyful annual party during which they get to interact and meet face-to-face with the senior management. The employees appreciated Corporate Management's efforts to enhance the sense of belongingness to the organisation.
A draw of lots was conducted and dozens of prizes were given to the winners. At the end of the party, Chandru, General Manager, thanked the corporate management for its support. He also expressed gratitude to all the staff and exhorted them to further enhance the services they render to the customers.
