Marjan Oilfield Services, part of Al Fahim Group, and the U.S.'s Halliburton, are setting up a joint venture to undertake logging and perforating services in Abu Dhabi.
The new company, Emirates Logging Co LLC, will offer open and cased hole logging and wireline perforating services here.

Marjan Oilfield Services, set up in 1979 under the Abdul Jalil Industrial Development, primarily offers slick wireline and electric line logging services for onshore and offshore operations along with wireline service personnel.
Marjan has fully integrated bases in Mussafah and Bu Hasa to cover the services they provide to the oil and gas industry.
Halliburton is among the world's largest providers of products and services to the petroleum and energy industries.
