Ajman, 20th Dec. 2013 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman,has issued a resolution restructuring the board of Ajman Club for the Handicapped under the chairmanship of Ahmed Ibrahim Al Ghamlasi, Chief of Ajman Crown Prince's Office.

Sheikh Ammar, in his capacity as honorary chairman of the club, restructured the board as part of effortsto empower it deliver the goals it set for the best interest of its members.

Meanwhile, the board held its final meeting for 2013 during it took stock of achievements made during the year.

The government of Ajman has allocated a plot of 55,000 square metre for building the club. The designof the club has been presented to the Ministry of Public Works for implementation.

The meeting also discussed agenda for 2014 including its participation in the Fazza International Heavyweight and Athletic Championship, organised by Dubai Club for Handicapped from 9 to 11 January 2014.

A project to improve the lives of disabled people in Ajman has been approved by the President's Initiatives Follow-up Committee.

The Ajman Club for the Handicapped features a new headquarters, multi-purpose sports halls and administrative offices, to be constructed at a cost of AED 40 million.
