Abu Dhabi: India's budget airline Air India Express said Thursday it's offering an introductory, one-way all-inclusive fare of Dh534 on its new nonstop flights starting September 4 from Abu Dhabi to Amritsar in northern India.

"The return fare inclusive of all taxes will amount to Dh1,104," the airline said, adding there will be three a week all economy flights to Amritsar.

The flights, IX141/142, will fly via Delhi, Amritsar, Muscat, Abu Dhabi, Amritsar and Delhi, arriving and departing Abu Dhabi International Airport at 9.25pm and 10.20pm every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, said the airline.

"The flight will depart Delhi and Amritsar at 4.10pm and 6.15pm, respectively. Since the flight originates and terminates at Delhi, the number of flights offered by AI/IX between Delhi and Abu Dhabi will increase to 6 flights per week," the airline said. Air India Express is a subsidiary of India's international carrier Air India.

Currently Air India Express flies to 14 international destinations - Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Muscat, Salalah, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Bahrain, Doha, Kuwait, Colombo and Dhaka from 17 Indian cities - Kozhikode, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Delhi, Amritsar, Srinagar, Lucknow, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mangalore and Tiruchirapally.
