MUSCAT -- The ninth meeting of the commanders of the AGCC land forces was held at Shangri-La's Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa here yesterday.
The meeting was inaugurated by Major-General Said bin Naser bin Sulaiman Al Salmi, commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), who welcomed the AGCC commanders and their delegations.
The assistant secretary-general for military affairs then delivered a speech on behalf of the AGCC secretariat.
The meeting discussed various topics listed on the agenda, which came in the framework of boosting the AGCC march in the military fields and a joint defence force to achieve the aspirations of the people of the AGCC nations.
