KASBAH (TAP) - A cabinet meeting held on Wednesday adopted 16 out of 18 draft laws and 55 out of 56 government decrees on issues relating to the prime ministry, the religious affairs, finances, transport, equipment and environment.
The meeting postponed the adoption of two other draft laws to next Saturday.
The first one relates to the investment law and the second to the crackdown on attacks against the army and security forces and customs staff as well as their premises and equipment.
The cabinet meeting thus adopted several draft laws including financing agreements in the form of donations and loans for the benefit of several plans for the renovation of estates and to finance the purchase of locomotives for rail transport in the outskirts of the capital.
It has also been decided to amend and complete the government decree relating to the setting up of a unit in the prime ministry in charge of political parties and associations' affairs.
Besides, it has been agreed to approve the government decree on the organization of the religious affairs ministry for the former legal framework prevented it from fulfilling its missions.
Several agreements on donations and loans concluded between Tunisia and the French development agency and other backers to finance basic equipment development plans in the regions, have also been approved.
