ABU DHABI, June 3rd, 2013 -- About 120 employees of the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City took part in the Operations Design & Management Course based on ARIS Software which was introduced by the Municipality in 2011 in the context of re-engineering operations to bring them in line with the best international practices of relevance to this field.

During the awards distribution ceremony, Hamad Rashid Al Dir?ee, Acting Executive Director of Strategic Planning & Performance Management Sector, Municipality of Abu Dhabi City, thanked employees taking part in the course for their efforts, adding that such endeavours would enhance employees skills and practical abilities, besides saving a lot of time, money and efforts in running the municipal business.

He reiterated the keenness of the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City to uplift employees performance, raising the quality of services rendered by all municipal sectors in the context of providing a superior living and sustainable environment for all residents of Abu Dhabi city.

Mohammed Ateeq Al Hamli, Head of Quality Section, confirmed that these courses would continue as they had a great impact on broadening the knowledge and experience of affiliates.

"From the start of the Program, induction training courses have been held for employees who are directly concerned with the application of processes to identify and address impediments of implementation in order to realize the objectives set for the optimal delivery of this project i.e. streamlining the flow of operations business procedures, and enhancing employees efficiency in realizing the needs & strategies of the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City as a prelude for its automation and upgrading of the software used besides ensuring the integration of processes and work procedures in a way that ensures the smooth flow of information between organizational processes," said Al Hamli.
