Abu Dhabi, Feb 21st, 2011 (WAM) -- The National Library of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) published a book titled "The Complete in Rhymes". The book was written by Ali Bin Masoud Farakhan.
This book is important because it discusses the science of rhymes in a distinctive and different way. It tries to formulate the knowledge associated with this topic, and presents its findings in an innovative way. The book has a unique style that has not been replicated in other books on the subject of rhyme. The author has added new expressions that have not previously been seen in any other books which address this discipline. The book is a rarity in that most were oblivious to it, until it was discovered by pure coincidence. It also represents an environment that has rarely been under the investigators microscope. The writer says that rhymes are one of the sciences in which the concept of grammar was introduced by Khalil ibn Ahmad Al Farahidi. He created rhymes using the science of prosody, which governs the rhythms, stresses and intonations associated with speech. Rhymes and prosody became known as sciences that came into existence with a mature or half-accomplished nature that was already formed. Writing was limited and repetitive, and books containing any kind of innovation or change were scarce.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2011.
