BAGHDAD: The Baghdad Mayoralty said on Sunday that it launched the second batch of proposed investment projects in the Iraqi capital at a cost of five billion Iraqi dinars.
BAGHDAD: The Baghdad Mayoralty said on Sunday that it launched the second batch of proposed investment projects in the Iraqi capital at a cost of five billion Iraqi dinars.
"This batch comprises nine projects including the construction of a housing compound in the area of al-Dabbash over an area of 397 donums," Baghdad Mayor Saber al-Issawi was quoted in a statement received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
One Iraqi donum equals 2,500 square meters.
"Other projects include a park in the fashion of al-Zawraa park over an area of 1,000 donums north of al-Shaab town on al-Rashidiya road," Issawi added.
