The Arab Contractors (Osman Ahmed Osman and Company) has completed 25% of the construction of King Faisal Road in the Saudi Arabian city of Medina in Saudi Arabia, a senior executive told Zawya.
The road will be 2,300 meters long when completed, and is expected to cost SAR 438 million (USD 117 million), said project manager Amr El Tanbouli. It includes three tunnels, and completion is expected 25 months from now, he said.
As much as 70% of the northern part of the road, comprising 1,000 meters, is complete. Of the southern part of 1,300 meters, 60% of the preliminary design and studies have been completed, El Tanbouli said. The tunnels are in the southern part of the road.
