Ashkhabad - Iran will invest in the development of one of Turkmenistan's gas fields, said director general of National Iranian Gas Exports Company (NIGEC). Speaking to IRNA Wednesday, Reza Kasaeizadeh said preliminaries for developing a Turkmen gas field had earlier been prepared.
He noted that two-day talks between Iran and Turkmenistan gas expert delegations focused on determining the frameworks of cooperation in the field.
The two countries signed an agreement on Iranian investment in Turkmenistan gas field in 2007.
