New Appointment Announced Amid Middle East Growth Plans


DUBAI, 16 January, 2012 -- The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) , a global management consulting firm, today announced the appointment of Jake Leslie Melville as a Partner and Managing Director in the Middle East. This appointment further strengthens BCG 's global Energy practice and falls in line with BCG 's expansion plans for the Middle East.

Leslie Melville will play a core role in augmenting BCG 's Energy practice and has extensive international experience in the sector, having led businesses in Europe, West Africa and Asia.

Leslie Melville has 16 years experience in strategy consulting after having moved into consulting from the utilities industry. He focuses predominantly on Oil and Gas but also works with a number of Utilities clients. He was elected a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and was a non-Executive Director of a UK Plc. board before joining BCG .

Originally from Scotland, Leslie Melville was educated at Eton College, Edinburgh University and has an MBA from the Wharton Business School.
