Arabian Food Supplies launched recently the world's biggest authentic Mexican restaurant in Jeddah. A host of celebrities and distinguished guests, including Mexican Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Terjo Arturo; Ambassador and Director of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Makkah region Mohammed Tayyeb; and Sheikh Saleh Al-Naghi witnessed the launch of "On The Border" Andalus branch. The SR15 million, 1100 sqm establishment on Andalus Road will cater to more than 280 Mexican food lovers at any one time. Zamil Abu Alhamayel, Arabian Food Supplies (AFS) chief of finance, said "this is the largest investment in any authentic Mexican restaurant to date.

It is a paradigm shift anticipating varying eating habits on the need for genuine, flavorful and casual dining." He added "AFS retains 65 percent of the casual dining market in Saudi Arabia. AFS aims to increase its share of the total dining experience in the Kingdom within the next five years to 80 percent. He disclosed that a franchise would open in Riyadh and Al-Khobar in the next two years.
