RIYADH: The young entrepreneurs committee at Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) will organize a workshop on April 23 on investment opportunities in retail sector for youth with the support of Minister of Labor Adel Fakeih.
The workshop will explore investment opportunities and deliberate on finding the best means to attract young entrepreneurs and how to remove obstacles facing the young investors.
Meanwhile, RCCI Board Chairman Abdulrahman Al-Jeraisi expressed thanks to the minister for his support to the workshop.
He also expressed hope the workshop will help the young entrepreneurs set up projects in retail sector and thus expand the base of youth investment. The sector is huge with its exceeding SR160 billion, he noted.
Head of Young Entrepreneurs Committee Fahad Al-Thanayyan stressed the importance of the workshop and its role in attracting the youth category to the retail sector and its positive impact on the national economy.
A number of work papers will be presented at the workshop that will diagnose investment opportunities in retail sector, social and economic results of such investments in addition to pinpointing obstacles facing the young investors and how to remove them.
