The University of South Wales (USW) has signed an agreement with state-owned Dubai Aviation City Corporation (DACC) to establish an aviation academy in Dubai, the two parties said on Monday.
A memorandum of understanding was signed on Monday for USW to set up the academy in Dubai South, the area surrounding Al Maktoum International at Dubai World Central.
The USW Aviation Academy will be the first facility to offer “advanced aerospace engineering education” in the region, according to a joint statement.
Classes will start in 2017, the statement said.
