Inaugural Event 'Ask Me Anything' to kick-off with Dave McClure, founding partner of 500 Startups from Silicon Valley

Tenmou invites applications from highly innovative entrepreneurs for next round of investment

Manama - Tenmou, Bahrain's first 'Business Angels' organisation announced today the launch of new coworking space on the 8th floor at National Bank of Bahrain(NBB) Tower which will facilitate the hosting of several events such as mentorship Mondays, and weekly and monthly sessions with Bahraini entrepreneurs.  In addition, it will also offer members the opportunity to book a dedicated workspace, host meetings and events or network, connect and develop their investment portfolios. 

As part of the launch of the new office space, Tenmou is gearing up to host its first event 'Ask Me Anything' with Dave McClure, the founding partner of 500 Startups, a venture capital firm and startup incubator in Silicon Valley founded by PayPal and Google Alumni with over US$150million under management.  The event will be held from 6:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, 2nd September 2015.

Dave has investments in hundreds of companies around the world and has twenty-five years of experience as a developer, entrepreneur, blogger, investor, and internet marketing expert. He has worked with high-profile companies such as PayPal, Founders Fund, Facebook, LinkedIn, Intel, and Microsoft to name a few. Bahraini entrepreneurs and high potential innovative startups will have the unique privilege to ask questions and learn valuable lessons from his experience. 

Commenting on the announcement, Hasan Haider, Chief Executive Officer of Tenmou said: "We are very proud to announce the launch of our new coworking space at the NBB towers, a significant milestone achievement for Tenmou. Launched in 2011, Tenmou aims to support entrepreneurs with valuable business assistance, including financial investment, mentorship, advice and guidance.  Tenmou recognizes that for many entrepreneurs, mentorship programmes can be as valuable as financial investments. Each project receives practical advice and training from the company's board members, who bring with them a wealth of business experience.  These training sessions expose the entrepreneurs to real business situations and are conducted in the form of workshops, on a regular basis. 

Established with a start-up capital of BD1 million (US$2.7 million),Tenmou invests an average of BD20,000 (US$53,000) for a stake of on average 20% in each project that meets its criteria, and will provide a three-month mentorship period, including support services, at no cost to the entrepreneurs.
