Sharjah - Hamriyah Free Zone - based Technomak Energy International FZC has added 1.1 million square feet  area to its  existing facility of 1.3 million square feet to meet the increasing global demand for their products.

"We are going to double our manufacturing capacity by taking up larger facilities to accommodate the company's growth", said Mohammed Haneefa, managing director of Technomak Energy International FZC after signing the contract with Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, director of  Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) and Sharjah Airport Free Zone (SAIF Zone).  HFZA deputy commercial manager Ali Al Jarwan,  senior sales officer, Abdul Aziz Dawood, Technomak Partners   Haxer Ali and  Mansoor Karakkat  were also present during the ceremony that took place at HFZA headquarters .

The $75 million state-of-the-art facility will be constructed on a 1.1 million square feet plot at the Hamriyah Free Zone phase 2. The construction  will commence immediately.

"The continuous investment by Technomak in HamriyahFreezone shows their confidence and edge in market   in production, safety and quality. We are happy to see the growth of existing companies and this development is reassuring", said Al Mazrouei after signing the contract.

Technomak  is well-known in the oil & gas, power and water, offshore & marine, metallurgy Industry as a leading player in the field of structural, piping, pressure vessels, skids and offshore structures like top sides and jacket.

While asked about expansion plans Mohammed Haneefa said: "This new investment will help to strengthen Technomak's position and expand its offering to the oil & gas, power & water, offshore & marine and metallurgy industry worldwide. Currently we have a market reach from the Americas  to the Far East and we want to double our capacity by 2017."

The new larger purpose built facility will feature dedicated fabrication area for exotic materials like super duplex, stainless steel, copper nickel, carbon steel apart from the state-of-the-art pipe mill and pressure vessel manufacturing unit and fully automated structural steel processing units. The venture is expected to create at least 800 job openings.

Hamriyah Free Zone houses over 6100 companies from across 157 countries, welcoming foreign investment from more than 500 industries in the key sectors of oil & gas, petrochemicals, maritime, steel, construction, and food.
