Hospital garnering widespread interest and expanding access to insurance clientele
UAE, Dubai: Saudi German Hospital-Dubai has further underlined its credentials as a progressive player in the UAE's health sector by signing partnership agreements with leading insurance entities, namely Now Health International and Amity Health. The net result is that more clients can now use their medical insurance to access Saudi German Hospital-Dubai's services. This ultimately gives them the opportunity to enhance their well-being and vitality through the hospital's state-of-the-art facilities and specialized expertise.
On 17 May, Saudi German Hospital-Dubai put pen to paper in an agreement with Amity Insurance. The insurer was represented by Mr Mike Collier and Dr Maggie Ramzy, who are the CEO and Network Manager respectively. This was followed up by another agreement with Now Health International on May, 21st.
Dr Mohaymen Abdelghany, CEO of Saudi German Hospital-Dubai was very upbeat about the partnerships, explaining: "These agreements are a win-win scenario because our hospital is becoming more accessible to clients of various insurance providers, while those clients will now enjoy access to our world-class amenities and expertise."
Shedding more light on the synergies, Dr Abdelghany pointed out that being a hospital does not mean the institution should only focus on the medical side of affairs: "We acknowledge that it would be myopic to only focus on treating patients, if those patients don't have financial peace of mind. Therefore by spreading our wings to include various insurance partners, we are going the extra mile to make it more convenient and more financially prudent for our patients to access our services. We always look at the bigger picture to provide a holistic experience for our clientele."
Amity Health is a third party administrator that acts on behalf of insurers and large employers in the public and private sectors. The second entity involved, Now Health International is a specialist provider of health insurance. Anchored at its headquarters in Hong Kong, the organization has become renowned for providing peerless service through its regional service centers which include Dubai and the United Kingdom.
The latest agreements come hot on the heels of a recent deal which Saudi German Hospital-Dubai signed with Neuron Healthcare Insurance. Judging from the enthusiasm which insurance companies are showing for partnerships with Saudi German Hospital-Dubai, these will not be the last agreements by any means.
This development is extremely positive news - not only for the insurance clients who can now access first class healthcare, but also for Saudi German Hospital-Dubai, which has experienced a meteoric rise since its inception and is now geared to grow from strength to strength.
