Habib Oueijan has joined the Qatar-based asset manager, responsible for developing and growing the business
Zurich, February 6th, 2015 - Aventicum Capital Management today announces the appointment of Habib Oueijan as the Head of Aventicum MENA & Frontier Markets based in Doha and operating under Aventicum Capital Management (Qatar) LLC.
In his new role, Habib has responsibility for continuing the development and growth of the Aventicum MENA & Frontier Markets business which currently offers long only and absolute return equity strategies providing exposure to MENA, Turkey and select frontier markets.
Habib joins Aventicum with over 20 years experience in the financial services industry, during which time he has developed expertise in MENA, frontier and emerging markets. Prior to joining Aventicum, Habib worked at Olayan Saudi Investments Company as the Head of Public Equities where he led a portfolio management team that focused on the MENAT region. He previously held positions with Union Bancaire Privée, Majid Al Futtaim and SHUAA Capital in Dubai, as well as the International Finance Corporation in Washington D.C.
