21 August 2011 (Dubai, UAE): Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai (Moorfields), the Dubai branch of the world renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, has signed an agreement with MetLife Alico under which Moorfields will join MetLife Alico's Preferred Network of Healthcare Providers and will provide specialist care and treatment to card holding patients covered by their company's health insurance policies.   

Holders of MetLife Alico health insurance policies will now be able to access world class eye care services, consultations and treatment provided by Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai, which opened in Dubai in 2007 and treats more than 10,000 patients per year, with the added benefit and convenience of pre-approved cover for treatment and direct billing.

The services and extent of treatment provided by Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai will be dependent upon the type of insurance cover held by individual patients.
